Madame Webb in Poll Position to Scoop TWO ‘Golden Raspberry’ Awards, According to Insiders

Madame Webb In Line For Unwanted Razzie
Head of PR Liam Solomon commented on the odds, saying: “Breathlessly boring and a far cry from the Marvel movies of old, Madame Webb is a near-certainty for a Golden Raspberry.
“It’s divebomb in the box office represents the slow death of the light-hearted comic book genre, with fans instead yearning for the grittiness of new titles such as Matt Reeves’ Batman or Todd Phillips’ Joker.”
Bookmakers are also not ruling out other titles to rival it for the Razzie, with Megamind vs Doom Syndicate a close second at 3/1.
Solomon went on to mention Megamind, saying: “2.4 on IMDb and 6% on Rotten Tomatoes places Megamind amongst the lowest scores on both review sites.
“Did anyone really ask for a sequel to the first movie – a title that came out almost 15 years ago? The connection between the two films is tenuous, resulting in a cringe-inducing mess of a plot.”
Dakota Johnson and Trevante Rhodes Tipped For Actors Awards
Madame Webb‘s lead Dakota Johnson is the strong favourite for the worst actress category at EVENS, while Netflix flop Mea Culpa has done no favours for lead actor Trevante Rhodes.
Solomon continued, saying: “The actor’s category is still fairly open to interpretation according to insiders, but Dakota Johnson looks set to lend Madame Webb a hand in scooping two unwanted Razzie awards.”
